BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING (BSCpE)

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering is a program that embodies the science and technology of design, development, implementation, maintenance and integration of software and hardware components in modern computing system and computer-controlled equipment.

With the ubiquity of computers, computer-based systems and networks in the world today, computer engineers must be versatile in the knowledge drawn from standard topics in computer science and electrical engineering as well as the foundations in mathematics and sciences. Because of the rapid pace of change in the computing field, computer engineers must be life-long learners to maintain their knowledge and skills within their chosen discipline.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE (BSCS)

The BS Computer Science program includes the study of computing concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations and new development in computing. The program prepares students to design and create algorithmically complex software and develop new and effective algorithms for solving computing problems. The programs also includes the study of the standards and practices in Software Engineering. It prepares students to acquire skills and disciplines requires for designing, writing and modifying software components, modules and applications that comprise software solutions.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (BSIT)

The BS Information Technology program includes the study of the utilization of both hardware and software technologies involving planning, installing, customizing, operating, managing and administering, and maintaining information technology infrastructure that provides computing solutions to address the needs of an organization.

BSIT graduates are expected to become globally competent, innovative, and socially and ethically responsible computing professionals engaged in life-long learning endeavors who are capable of contributing to the country’s national development goals.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING (BSECE)

The scope and nature of practice of the Electronics Engineer shall embrace and consist of any work or activity relating to the application of engineering sciences and/or principles to the investigation, analysis, synthesis, planning, design, specification, research and development, provisions, procurement, marketing and sales, manufacture and production, construction and installation, tests/measurements/control, operation, repair, servicing, technical support and maintenance of electronics components, devices, products, apparatus, instruments, equipment, systems, networks, operations and processes in the fields of electronics, including communications and/or telecommunications, information and communications technology (ICT), computers and their networking and hardware/firmware/software.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING (BSIE)

The BS in Industrial Engineering program is intended to prepare students for a professional Industrial Engineering career including a leading role in the design, improvement, and installation of integrated systems of people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. Graduates of the program must have specialized knowledge and skills in the mathematical, physical, and social sciences together with the principles and methods of engineering analysis and design to specify, predict, and evaluate the results to be obtained from such systems.
